KoSI-Seminar 2: Measuring & Managing Social Impact

Termin: 01.02.2023, 11:00 - 12:00 Uhr | Ort: online via zoom

The #KoSI seminars are a capacity building workshop series from the German Competence Centre promoting mutual learning.

The grand challenges of our times have shown us how much we need organizations that create social and ecological value – and an ecosystem in which they can thrive. With our #KoSI seminars, we promote mutual learning between founders of social ventures, accelerators, and impact investors.

Workshop 2
Measuring & Managing Social Impact

What social enterprises, investors, and policymakers understand as impact and how that impact is measured increasingly varies. This is the focus of this module. As expert in the field we offer insights from Thomas Steiner from Phineo on the following key questions and issues:

  • Why is social environmental impact measured and for whom?
  • What is impact, how is it analyzed, and how do methods help organizations improve impact?
  • How can different perspectives on the topic of impact be reconciled?
